Here is the Saints’ 53-man roster as it currently stands after the NFL’s mandatory cutdown by 3 p.m. CT on Tuesday.
Remember, if the Saints plan to place any of these players on short-term injured reserve with eligibility to return after four weeks, they had to be on this initial 53-man roster. So there could be some jockeying in the coming days. They could also claim other teams’ cuts off waivers.
After waivers are processed around the NFL, the Saints can begin signing players to their 16-man practice squad on Wednesday.
