NO HALL OF FAME GAME FOR SAINTS
The Saints won’t be playing in the Hall of Fame preseason game in Canton, a source confirmed.
The participants are ultimately a league decision, and the Saints were definitely considered since Drew Brees will be enshrined that weekend.
From a logistics standpoint, it would have meant three road preseason games for the Saints. One of those games is expected to include another short trip to California with a hope of joint practices leading up to the game.
