ALONTAE TAYLOR PRACTICES WEDNESDAY, CHASE YOUNG LIMITED
Cornerback Alontae Taylor was back participating in Saints practice during the portion open to media Wednesday – a good sign he could be back for Week 1 against the Cardinals and some tough matchups vs. Trey McBride and Marvin Harrison.
However, Saints DE Chase Young was added to the injury report as limited Wednesday after a calf injury popped up during Wednesday’s practice, per Kellen Moore. Moore seemed to downplay the significance, though, calling it “a little something” in multiple answers. That will obviously be one to watch in Thursday’s attendance.
G Trevor Penning was the only DNP. Veteran Dillon Radunz will likely replace him at LG if Penning isn’t available for Week 1.
Taylor (groin), DT Khristian Boyd (hand) and S Jordan Howden (oblique) were all listed as limited participants in Wednesday’s practice.
We also didn’t see practice squad DB Terrell Burgess, but practice squad players aren’t listed on the injury report.
