Meanwhile, CB Alontae Taylor has no injury designation, making him full-go to play.
Guard Dillon Radunz is the obvious replacement for Penning. As for Young, his absence should lead to more snaps across the board for edge rushers Carl Granderson, Cam Jordan and Chris Rumph. Will be interesting to see if the Saints consider calling up rookie Fadil Diggs from the practice squad for added depth, among other options.
