The Saints will open their season at home against the Arizona Cardinals, according to a source.
The matchup will be interesting because it will put New Orleans up against Kyler Murray and a more mobile quarterback, which, previously, was one of the bigger issues for the Saints' defense. So, we will find out right away if Brandon Staley and his staff will bring material change to how this team defends and operates.
Arizona finished last season 8-9. Like Kellen Moore, their head coach, Jonathan Gannon, also came from Philadelphia.
The Saints have opened at home each of the last two seasons.
