The team has agreed to a fully-guaranteed contract with Tyler Shough that is worth $10.795 million over four years.
The league's second rounders were slow to sign this year as they waited to sign fully-guaranteed deals, which is unprecedented. Typically, players selected in that range get about 90% of their money guaranteed.
Shough wound up as the cut-off point. The first eight picks in Round 2, including Shough, all got fully-guaranteed contracts. Starting with pick 41 right after Shough, the percentages began to dip down.
