The Saints see it, mostly because Zack Baun is starting to see it. Baun, last year's third-round pick, remains a mystery to most. He's a former defensive end who is attempting to transition into a weakside linebacker. Most of us have never seen him play in space. All we know about Baun as a linebacker is that he is trying to become one. The team drafted another linebacker in the second round of this year's draft, leaving one big question: Where does Baun fit? Turns out the answer is at weakside linebacker, where he will be playing in even more space. Saints linebackers coach Michael Hodges is encouraged by Baun's progress, but acknowledges there is a big learning curve to what the linebacker is attempting to do.
