The Saints have been intrigued with Tanoh Kpassagnon’s talent for a while.
The pass rusher was on their radar coming into the 2017 draft, though New Orleans instead selected safety Marcus Williams in the second round. But Kpassagnon will now get an opportunity to show what he can do for the Saints after spending the last four years with the Kansas City Chiefs.
This signing isn’t going to revolutionize the defense. Kpassagnon has flashed throughout his career, showing off the kind of ability and versatility that makes him an intriguing player. He will provide the Saints with needed depth and have a chance to compete for a more prominent role.
