How Janoris Jenkins could help the Saints defense reach the next level

Emmanuel Sanders had never seen anything like it.

He couldn't even count them all if tried. Sanders has run hundreds of comeback routes throughout his career, and he often makes cornerbacks look bad when he runs one. Janoris Jenkins wasn't willing to be a victim. During the first couple of days of training camp, Sanders ran a comeback with Jenkins in coverage. This time — perhaps for the first time — things were different.

"I thought I was going to be wide open, and this guy stopped on a dime," Sanders said. "His feet are really good. He stopped on a dime and broke the pass up. I was really surprised. I've never seen a guy cover that route, how I ran it."
